Hi, I'm Susy. I'm Mexican and I love bikes, they are my passion and my favorite hobby. I have been using bikes as my means of transportation since I was 15 years old and my bike has become my life partner. Living on the incredible Pacific coast of Mexico and riding road and gravel bicycles has allowed me to explore the area and discover new paths that I'd love to show you. I always try to promote the use of the bicycle and turn it into a lifestyle and also create awareness on how to take care of the environment. Are you ready? Grab your bike and lets go! Good vibes and good rides!
Great ride to SAN Juan with Susy- would definitely do again-
Suzy is a wonderful riding guide and partner. She’s attentive to how you’re doing and what you’d like to do. The Arroyo ride was wonderful...great valley scenery and the stop at the halfway point is charming.
Very knowledge and friendly always ready to answer questions about herself and her local knowledge. Great to have met you Susy. Asta pronto.
Susy brought us out to enjoy some fresh coconut water (in the coconut!) on the El Arroyo ride, which was beautiful and bucolic. When my coconut was a bit pulpy rather than meaty, she gave me hers! Super sweet and humble, Susy kept an eye on us all while also reasonably enjoying the ride herself. I’d absolutely ride with her again!
Such a happy an awesome gal! Thank you Susy
Suzi knows the area and will make your experince fantastic!
I had Suzy as a guide and she was a delight! She got us set up quickly, my bike was ready to roll, and off we went. She was careful to ensure we were travelling safely in traffic and checked in with me often. She reminded me to take breaks and was happy to pick up the pace when I asked. An additional benefit of having a guide that I hadn’t considered was her knowledge of the area and of Mexican culture. Her patience, humour, and kindness made the ride an absolute pleasure. We even stopped for a post-ride espresso (in case we weren’t sweaty enough). I highly recommend riding with Veloguide, and Suzy in Bucerias in particular.
Good awareness of group abilities and goals and adjusts pace accordingly. Personable and knowledgeable. I would definitely look forward to another ride with Suzy
Susy joined our group that was lead by another guide. She was very supportive, friendly, & helpful. I'd certainly go for a ride with her again!
We rode with Susy two weeks ago in Bucerias, and had a thoroughly pleasant experience. Susy is relatively new to Velo-guiding, and is highly motivated to learn the ropes and eager to please her rider clients. Being Mexican, she is able to relay some of the local culture, and is a great example of the company tag line "Ride Like a Local". Thanks Susy!!
I rode with Susy in late November and really enjoyed my morning. Susy is a very conscientious and capable guide. She was sure to chat with me about what I wanted out of the experience, the distance and speed that I would like to travel and asked about how I was feeling that morning. Along the way she asked about my previous riding experiences and shared lots of information about the sights along the road to El Colomo. My favorite part of the ride was our stop at a fruit and vegetable shop - it was a welcome break and the banana was delicious!
I love all the routes surrounding the Bay of Banderas, as there are a variety of landscapes to cycle through, each with their own magical qualities! Exploring new roads with new people is an excellent way to share the beautiful scenery around the eclectic towns in the Riviera Nayarit.
My favorite rides are the ones where you take your time to appreciate the scenery, the animals, take some photos, and meet people going about their daily life.
I love cycling when the moon is full; seeing the sun and then seeing the huge moon in front of you while you are on the road, is priceless.
I have been living in Bucerias, Mexico for 2 years now and I love the town and bay. This is my first season as a guide and I am learning something new every ride! I love enjoying a good espresso or agua fresca before, during, or after a ride, and would love to share one with you!
