Growing up in small town USA, riding has always been a part of my life. I've lived in New York City for the last seven years, Riding and Racing for Rapha and the RCC. Personally, I don't think there is another city that can offer what New York City can, on and off the bike. With great riding, culture, food, and art, the list goes on. New York City has it all.
Always a great time riding with Sam. Whether you're looking for someone to show you new roads in the area and have a good chat over a coffee afterwards or you need that extra motivation to kick your training up a notch, Sam is your guy!
With all of the routes in New York, my favorite route starts out down River Road, hitting 9w before traveling through college hills and stopping in Nyack, NY for some great coffee and pasteries. This route offers many different types of roads, trails and climbs for all types or riders. All of which can be tailored to the riders skill level.
My riding style can be tailored to any rider including a scenic ride on Rive Road (40 miles) to a Grand Fondo Domestique ride to Bear Mountain and back (120 miles) aka a hammerfest. Ride leading for Rapha has allowed me to lead many different types of riders, finding some of the most incredible roads, great coffee shops, and memorable photos.
If you're new to riding, no worries, we can get you up and running with a few Central Park laps before grabbing coffee and pastery at one of the local coffee shops.
New York has a lot to offer for all types of riders, and I love giving enterainment recoomendations with the best restaurants, theaters, and neighborhoods to explore. I hope to see you out on the road.
