Meet Ryan

Mt Penn, United States of America

I was born in Reading PA, where I fell in love with bicycle racing. I started racing local mountain bike races in the early 90's when I was a middle school student. MTB racing around the country taught me the art of traveling and my hunger for culture and travel was being fueled by bike racing.

After my introduction to racing in Europe I found myself racing on a US based pro cycling team in 03.  I went to the line at some of the coolest races in the world that year, FBD Milk Ras  in Ireland, The Philadelphia Pro race, San Francisco Grand Prix and my love affair with fly by night division 3 professional racing was full swing for the next 10 years.

I spend most of my time in Mt Penn PA or Montreal. Let me know if you want to go for a spin. I ride everyday sometimes fast sometimes slow but I"m always safe. we can share stories and talk about culture or we can light our hair on fire get naked and ride around the neighborhood throwing hot meatballs at people.

Ryan was in Mexico and put on the VeloGuide kit and helped with some of our rides as well as our Gran Fondo ride. Super friendly guy with a lot of passion for cycling. He was incredibly helpful during the race giving encouragement to the other riders who were also suffering trying to keep up! One of the highlights was him doing a wheelie across the finish line at the event! I am looking forward to booking Ryan on a trip to Montreal this summer.

My Favorite Ride

My favourite ride is The Nove Colli in Central Italy. Translates as 'nine hills'. The scenery is stunning as you climb through Italian hills before descending back down the the Adriatic coast,  The Nove Colli Gran Fondo is one of Italy's most famous cycling events and with over 12,000 riders it's one of the most popular too
