I spent several years racing at the elite/pro level of american bike racing with teams like Stage 17 presented by BMW and Optum Pro Cycling. I'm born and raised in Santa Barbara and have spent countless hours on the roads here training and riding for enjoyment. After retiring from racing I opened a coffee shop in town called Breakfast Culture Club. I spend most of my time riding, working at my shop, traveling with teams to shoot race photos. Cycling has been a foundation for most my life and I'd love to share my knowledge of this area with others!

Santa Barbara has to be one of the better places in the states for cycling from long coastal roads to world class climbs and views. It's got just about everything any rider from beginner to world tour would want. There are several notable features like Gibraltar Road, a 8.5 mile climb featured in the Amgen Tour of California and will be the home to Phil Gaimons Hillclimb World Champs. The beaches and coastal roads that wrap around our little beach town are incredible and safe for all levels of rider. We have incredible restaurants, wineries, coffee shops, and cultural hubs that make time off the bike enjoyable.
