My first road race and introduction to cycling was back in 2014. Since then, I have been hooked! While I got started fairly late into the sport, I wouldn't change a thing. Cycling has taken me to some pretty awesome locations and has allowed me to meet people from all walks of life. There's nothing better than exciting new roads, good conversations, and an obligatory coffee shop stop!
I am currently racing for the Support Clean Sport/SeaSucker/Guttenplan Coaching domestic elite cycling team.

Thinking of a single favorite ride is an impossible task for me. Every ride is unique in its own way, so they're often hard to compare. I love to climb, so I tend to seek out elevation. One year, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel and ride in France, and one of my most memorable rides took place on a lesser known climb. The road led up to a small village and it was just a magical experience. The road was narrow and winding with multiple switchbacks, the views were amazing, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. While the classic climbs were still fun, I found this climb to be more enjoyable. My all time favorite climb would be up Haleakala, which is located on Maui. With a total elevation of 10,023 ft (3055m) it makes for a challenging, yet spectacular ride.
As far as Nashville, the riding is world class! Once you make your way out of the busy city, you hit quiet, rolling country roads. The roads tend to be in very good condition, and you can gain a surprising amount of elevation despite no true climbs.
