Amateur Racer who works in the wine industry and lives in the Napa Valley. Married with a young son who also loves to ride and race his bike. My training and riding is done within my doorstep without me driving someplace else, unless I just want to. I’m here for the person who wants local knowledge of all the best places to ride, explore, eat, drink and stop for coffee and ultimately have an amazing experience to ride away with.
If you need someone to take you to the best places in Napa and surrounding areas, Joshua is your guy. Wether it be a scenic ride through the vineyards or a challenging climb, he knows all the best known and unknown routes to give you a great ride. I'm never disappointed when I go to Napa to ride and meet up with Joshua, I know I'm in for great ride and workout and riding some new route. And afterwards I can always rely on his wine expertise to send me to one of the many wineries in the area for some great wine tastings.
Enjoying the time on two wheels with great views (Not hard to come by in the Napa Valley) and great company are my favorite rides, throw in an espresso stop and I can’t complain.
The Napa Valley is a known tourist destination for the food and wine culture around here, including surrounding counties such as Sonoma. Along with the vineyards, wineries and restaurants there are amazing roads to ride, explore and train on. Many come seeking to come ride to wineries as well as more serious riders wanting to put in a few hours on the bike and enjoy the area on two wheels and finish the day with a glass of wine with an amazing dinner. This is where I come in to help. There are local bike tour companies here that cater to the rider who wants to ride 3 miles and stop at every winery possible. Not to the rider who wants to spend 1-3+ hours touring around on a bike in lycra, this is where I come in to help you. The area has many good routes that can be done to accommodate the beginner cyclist all the way to the pros. I can create a customized route tailored to you catering to what you want to ride. A day spent on the flat to a day that will test your climbing skills.
