Meet Jeff

Penticton, Canada

In my younger days I was a professional musician, and I have played hundreds of concerts across Canada and throughout the United States. In 2003 I retired from music and became interested in endurance sports, initially as a runner. I specialized in marathon running and completed over 30 of them, including the Boston Marathon. By 2007 I had progressed to competing in Ironman Triathlons. It was through Ironman racing and training that my wife and I fell in love with cycling in the Okanagan, and we moved to Penticton in 2017. Since retiring from racing 5 years ago, I’ve switched my focus entirely to cycling. “My favourite rides are either epic, fast, or both!”

now to give Jeff a review.

My Favorite Ride

I have no less than 20 favorite routes  that I use as a base and then add on depending on how I feel that day. This is fairly challenging terrain in that we don’t have very many flat roads. In addition to a very popular July Fondo, we also boast the 2nd biggest climb in Canada, Apex Mountain, which has been compared to Mont Ventoux.

More ABout Jeff

This is wine country. Penticton is without exaggeration the best place to ride in Canada.
