"My ideal is I would like cyclists to go home with a sense of enjoyment, buzz, some extra knowledge, but more a memory that this was one of their best days on a bike!

I JUST ENJOY RIDING MY BIKE, sharing my passion for cycling and the outdoors, showing fellow cyclists the out of the way places, and the hidden gems of local life. Integrating as if you too were a local and rode the streets regularly, but also showing the stunning vistas and breathtaking scenery this region has to offer!"

Chris left Melbourne, Australia in 2008 and ventured to Italy where he  worked for 12 months as a Cycling Guide, Bike Hire manager, and mechanic for a Cycling Holiday Hotel on the Adriatic Coast.

In 2009 Chris made the move to London. Now a British citizen, he has become very experienced in racing and touring on MTB, BMX and Road Bikes. Has also been involved with a large amount of producing and managing events and understands what makes a great cycling event or tour from having seen and experienced it from both sides!

Even though home was London, Chris was always traveling back to Italy for cycling holidays and GranFondo’s. In 2012 he decided to head back to the Adriatic coast, and is now a permanent fixture in this region with extensive knowledge and will be sure to give you the most amazing cycle tour if you venture to Emilia Romagna.

"ONE OF MY FAVOURITE RIDES, when its a crystal clear day is obviously to San Marino, at 750m in altitude you really get to appreciate the most stunning terrain we have to ride. This majestic rock outcrop dominates the horizon with its ski slope appearance. And no you won’t need your passport! Mostly I like sharing my hidden gems of the countryside with our guests. The little coffee shops tucked away in the most stunning locations, the best gelato shops, mouth watering pastries, and the after ride spritz!"

"I had an awesome ride with Chris a couple of weeks ago. We started in Richmond and did a 90km loop through Surrey, including a climb up Box Hill (even better than the Zwift version)! We cycled through some beautiful scenery, and Chris had great commentary along the way. Being a North American, it was also helpful to have Chris guide me in riding on the left side of the road and through all of the roundabouts! I would definitely ride again with Chris, hopefully on the Windsor Loop next time."

So whether you're traveling to the breathtaking Adriatic coast of Italy, or perhaps to London the 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times, Chris is your man. Book or inquire about tours with Chris here HERE!
