About VeloGuide

Introducing VeloGuide. We are a team of passionate cyclists who are developing an on-demand ‘ride and guide’ sharing app solution to the question: Why can’t it be easy to find a bike and go for a ride everywhere and every time I travel!? We connect avid cyclists with local guides, high-quality, well-maintained bikes and tours anywhere they want to ride.

The VeloGuides in our ever-expanding network across the globe–from serious recreational cyclists to active or retired Olympic athletes and pros–share our passion for cycling and are eager to share their high-quality equipment and local knowledge with like-minded cyclists.
Our growing roster of VeloGuides worldwide includes such notable names as George Hincapie, Christian Vande Velde, Bobby Julich, Matthew Busche, Phil Gaimon and Chris Butler.

VeloGuide connects travelling cyclists with a local VeloGuide, bike and tour.

By creating an easy and affordable approach to finding, booking and paying for the experience of riding a bike when you’re away from home, VeloGuide promises to do for cycling tourism what Uber and AirBnB did for ride sharing and home sharing.

For prospective customers: VeloGuide allows guests to ride anywhere like a local, making cycling in new places easier, safer and far more interesting.

For prospective guides: VeloGuide allows cyclists to work part-time as guides, earning extra cash while riding their favorite routes and sharing local knowledge.

For prospective hubs: VeloGuide helps bike rental businesses reach more customers more efficiently and significantly increase rental traffic.

The VeloGuide app is an on-demand ‘ride and guide’ sharing application that connects avid cyclists with local guides (and high-quality, well-maintained bikes) anywhere they want to ride.
Since its beta launch in spring 2017, VeloGuide has expanded into more than 30 cities and seven countries in North America, South America, Europe and Australia.
